Zero Balancing (ZB) is powerful touch therapy for body and mind. ZB is deeply relaxing and energizing, it touches your core, at the level of bone, to promote wellness and balance.
This powerful modality focuses on key joints of the skeleton that conduct and balance forces of gravity, posture and movement. ZB provides space for the body to clear blockages in your energy flow, amplify your vitality and contribute to better postural alignment. A Zero Balancing session leaves you with a wonderful feeling of inner harmony and organization.
Zero balancing can help relieve body aches and pain, release restrictions in movement and provide lasting relief from emotional distress to improve overall quality of life. ZB can also be useful with specific goals such as relief from back pain, improving sleep or concentration, releasing unwanted stress, or boosting an overall sense of well-being.
A ZB session begins with a brief conversation between the client and practitioner in order to establish the expectations and intention of the session. The client remains fully clothed while resting face up on the table. The practitioner will then proceed with the appropriate techniques for specific zones of the body. In between these assessment and fulcrums, the practitioner will step back and pause to allow for the clients body to reorganize. Zero Balancing can also be easily incorporated into an acupuncture treatment depending on individual patient needs.
